Growing up

My 9 yr old with the precocious puberty has REALLY hit puberty today. It is official. Even though the doctor told me she shouldn't start menstruating for another 6 months, she did today. I feel very guilty because I did not prepare her as thoroughly as I should have. She knew some of it, but not the details.

We really didn't need another major event right now. I feel like the walls are closing in.
