Time to update my blog!

Hey all...if anyone is still out there, lol. Hope you are all doing well.

My story is now over 250 pages and I have two betas (informal editors) working on it, plus a friend who is a fan of P&P who took it on vacation with her to read...I'm waiting for her verdict when she gets back. She is a published author.

The two betas are great and very different from each other which works out wonderfully. One is a male, one female - one more grammar/syntax minded than the other, the other gives me lots of ideas of where I can/should expand. They're about 50 pages into the story now and we've hit a major snag. The lady wants me to get rid of a scene that is very important and I'm freaking out. Granted she had no idea how important this is to the rest of the story because she has not read it yet, but I haven't the slightest idea how to 'fix' this scene.

So instead of writing for now I'm taking another break and catching up on my reading.

Gotta go get the kiddies from school. Ugh only 4 more days then they are off for 2 months!
